Chaz Privette

Chaz Privette was awarded the Music Performance Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship at Austin Peay State University where he studies with the renowned teacher/performer Stanley Yates.  Due to his potential, he is the only student Stanley taught privately outside the university.  Chaz has won multiple competition prizes and was selected to take part in series of masterclasses and lessons with Grammy-winning classical guitarist Jason Vieaux at the Eastern Guitar Workshop. Chaz has unusual high-level sight-reading abilities and learns and memorizes repertoire very quickly. He is also an accomplished arranger for solo guitar. Chaz is a gifted performer and his potential is tremendous.
